Air Plant Tillandsia Brachycaulos

Tillandsia brachycaulos is native to Mexico, Central America, and Venezuela. It reaches about 3 to 6 inches tall and has fairly thick, wide leaves compared to other Tillandsias that form an opening outward crown shape. When they are nearing bloom time, the leaves of the entire plant turn red before they produce their bright, purple-blue flowers. This makes them one of the more colorful Tillandsias out there! They tend to easily form clumps. Perfect for terrariums, glass globes, driftwood or any container - no dirt required. Low maintenance: upon reception, soak them in water for about five minutes. Air plants do not require soil, only a regular watering every week and household light would be fine. Keep them dry between watering to prevent rotting. Size: varies by selection
